Cadillac DTS DetailThis Cadillac DTS detail is a fine example of car detailing long term maintenance. This car actually gets detailed every two months like clock work. I have been taking care of this car for many years now. This is a 2002 Cadillac DTS with 153,000 miles on the odometer as of writing this page.Results Never Lie!Welcome to an example of the kinds of results that I am always talking about.The kinds of results you can get when:
 Look at the shine on that car after this many miles and yearsLook at the SHINE on this beauty! Let me tell you also that this is a daily driver. Do the math; 153,000 miles in 6 years. That equals to over 25,000 miles a year. So you know this is a daily driver. My customer says that he gets compliments all the time on his car and I think you can see why. In fact his girlfriend seriously thought that his car was brand new when they first started going out, which wasn't all that long ago.Let me take you through this Cadillac DTS detail and highlight some of the areas of wear and tear, so you can see for yourself the kind of results that I give my customers through car detailing services. Here we have a shot of the interior where you can see first hand just how well everything is doingCheck out the leather on this Cadillac DTS detail. Car Leather CareI will let you know that on this particular Cadillac DTS detail, the customer does keep plastic mats on the floor to protect the floor mats. It is hard to tell, but this shot does have the original floor mat down there. Even though there are plastic floor mats kept down, they don't cover the entire floor mat, so the perimeter of the actual floor mats in this Cadillac DTS, get dirty each time, and must be cleaned to match the virgin floor mat area that is consistently covered.Notice the threshold plate as well as the side of the seat where the electric controls are. See how well these can hold up with consistent care and maintenance. And in case you are wondering, this is a daily driver that also gets its share of passenger use as well. I am going to take you in for a close up look of this area of the auto detailing process. A close up of the leather seatingI want to show you as much as possible the full extent of what consistent maintenance and quality car detailing can provide. The leather in this Cadillac DTS has clearly been used over time, but look how amazing it is when all the variables of use and time are taken into consideration. Something that you might notice of this Cadillac DTS detail, is the less than perfect condition of the seat belt itself. This is about the only area that I have yet to perfect the perfect solution to car detailing.The weave of the synthetic fibers of seat belts makes it impossible to get them really clean in the traditional way. I have applied a specific approach to seat belts, but have yet to get actual perfection when it comes to cleaning these areas. So I take the approach as I have done with other areas of car detailing and that is two options; either just use them and replace when they are too dirty for you, or cover them up during use with something like the wool covers that I have seen in use in other cars. The clean lines of the door panelHere is a shot of one of the door panels of this Cadillac DTS detail. The main problem with door panels is two specific areas; that of the door handle/arm rest area; and that of the lower kick area that people tend to kick and scuff when entering and exiting the car. I am not sure why I didn't get a shot of the drivers side, but it looks as nice as this passenger side does. I must say that I bet a lot of you out there would not be able to tell if this was a brand new engine, or an engine as is the case here, that has 153,000 miles on it; amazing folks! Now lets go back outside on this Cadillac DTS detail and check out a few things I want to note. A look down the sides of this Cadillac to verify its excellent shapeHere is a shot of the drivers side rocker panel and wheel area. Notice the clean within the wheel well area and the wheel well lips themselves. The other side of the Cadillac for more of the same detailing perfectionNow here is a look at the other side; and the same goes equally with this side. Plenty of shine; plenty of clean, and plenty of perfection. Also in these two shots I want you to notice the shine of that chrome.The shine isn't the real amazing part, as any detailer with a rag and a bottle of glass cleaner can make chrome shine. What is important to know and note about the chrome, is that this is original chrome; chrome with 153,000 miles of road conditions on them. This proves two things:
