It's always a pleasure working in the "Village" of Corona Del Mar, CA which also happened to be a bright and sunny day.
I have long been a fan of the Ferrari sports cars; what red blooded man isn't. The Italian engineering is second to none with excellent fit and finish, executed with exceptional materials. This Ferrari F430 looks amazing iconic in red with the traditional brown leather interior.  Overview This is what you would call more of a weekend cruiser for the owner. The car was in excellent condition when I first got to it and therefore required no special needs; just meticulous attention to the normal details of a Ferrari. Paint Care The most difficult part of this particular car is the red paint. Proper care and product choice is important, as well as protecting the many body trim pieces from buffer damages during the polishing process.ferrari f430 spider
When it comes to Ferrari, red is synonymous and iconic. With red paint, you have to be much more careful in choosing polishes and waxes. Use of traditional paste wax after polishing is required for glossing and depth creation. Application of a select spray wax after each washing will aid to extend the life of the paste wax, as well as add visual enhancement each time.  Interior The main concern for this Ferrari is proper care and maintenance of the cars fine leather interior. Just like paint colors, interior colors each come with their unique set of pros and cons. Dark interiors hide actual dirt better, but superficial dirt like dust and lint show up more easily.ferrari f430 spider While superficial dirt is much easier to fix and clean, it does require more frequent cleanings.
Wheels Modern day wheels finished in the OE silver finish are easy to clean and maintain. The smooth silver and clear coated finish is resistant to brake dust and harmful chemicals. Simple cleaners used with some form of manual agitation of a soft brush, is all that is required to keep wheels lasting a life time. I also use a trusted spray wax for enhanced protection and appearance on these types of wheels. These particular wheels use a stylized version of the much popular 5 spoke wheel that I am personally very fond of.
Engine There is nothing quite like Italian V-8's and the intoxicating sound they emit at full throttle; if your senses aren't aroused by this sound, you had better check for a pulse. Because this is a weekend cruiser, the engine is not getting too dirty as a general rule. Despite what you might think, detailing one of these engine's is not much different than performing the work on any modern day engine. I have generally used other mobile detail services in the past and continue to do so for what I call a normal detail job. But I met Daren through Exclusive Motors as we share the same building. My wife uses the Suburban to run our 3 kids around and it gets very dirty in the process.
