Occupation: Business Owner Model: Mercedes E350 Location: Yorba Linda, CA Today I had the pleasure of performing my magic on this new Mercedes E350 car detail. This customer is a referral from one of my other long standing customers of Auto Fetish. We have since put this Mercedes on a monthly maintenance detailing schedule; the only way to go when a person wants to maintain the value of their car and have it look fabulous while doing so.
I have long been a fan of the Mercedes line. The German engineering is second to none with excellent fit and finish, executed with exceptional materials. Done up in bright white, this color choice is easy for maintenance, and white is a "clean" looking color.  Overview Since this car was brand new, most would think the paint needed nothing; not necessarily so. There was a healthy case of fall-out on the paint that needed removal for a silky smooth; feels like waxed glass finish. And this is exactly what I did, followed by a sealing coat of synthetic polymer. Paint Care White is one of my favorite colors of paint and also happens to be one of the most user friendly colors for care and maintenance. With all light colored paint, you have more choices in products due to the forgiving nature of the color.
Use of a synthetic polymer sealant used every 6-12 months will be all that is needed for protection. Application of a spray wax during the monthly detail will aid to extend the life of the sealant, as well as add visual enhancement each time.  Interior The two main concerns for this Mercedes E350 car detail is proper care and maintenance of the cars leather interior, and the fact that it is lighter. Just like paint colors, interior colors each come with their unique set of pros and cons. Light interiors will show the dirt better, but superficial dirt like dust and lint show up less. While superficial dirt is much easier to fix and clean, the light colored leather will require more consistent cleanings; the monthly detail schedule will be the perfect fix for this.  Wheels Modern day wheels finished in the OE silver finish are easy to clean and maintain. The smooth silver and clear coated finish is resistant to brake dust and harmful chemicals. Simple cleaners used with some form of manual agitation of a soft brush, is all that is required to keep wheels lasting a life time. I also use a trusted spray wax for enhanced protection and appearance on these types of wheels. These particular wheels use a stylized version of the much popular 5 spoke wheel that I am personally very fond of. I have generally used other mobile detail services in the past and continue to do so for what I call a normal detail job. But I met Darren through Exclusive Motors as we share the same building. My wife uses the Suburban to run our 3 kids around and it gets very dirty in the process.
