Mercedes S500 DetailToday I bring you this Mercedes S500 detail that I have been taking care of since it was new; it is now over three years old and an entire year has lapsed since I detailed it last.I am going to include some before shots of this particular detail to highlight some of the unique problem areas for Mercedes' when it comes to auto detailing.
I love this particular model of this S-class, as this is the sport edition that includes the added front and rear sport fascias, as well as the added side rocker extensions.
Here is another exterior shot so you can see the kind of fabulous shape this car remains after 50K+ miles, consistent car detailing, and over three years on the road as a daily driver, and one that hauls two kids all over town in.

I will take you to the inside by first having a look at some Auto Fetish difference with these incredibly detailed and perfect door jamb area.

I say opulent as Mercedes does such a nice job with their use of materials, that are among the best in the world. One of the reasons as a detailer, that I can get these kinds of results like I did here today on this Mercedes S500 detail.
Here we are at the before shot of the dirty drivers area. Take note of the following areas: the dirty leather; dirty threshold area that is made up of different fabrics that all get dirty; and the foot scuffs that always gather on the area just below the front area of the seat.
Look at all those same areas now and take note of the level of perfection that is possible when you have the right combination of superior materials, expert know how, applied with expert techniques.
I decided to include this close up of the seat area where I removed the foot scuffs 100%! See that... I developed this unique technique for removing these scuffs from Mercedes cars that can allow for 100% removal. You may not be as impressed as I am, but that would only be because you have not experienced the frustration of detailing the interior of a car, to that 99% perfection level...the ability to remove these scuffs now allows for the 100% perfection level.
Here we have the passenger side with a before shot that shows much the same kind of dirt as the drivers; dirty leather, foot scuffs, dirty threshold materials, etc.
...and here we have the after shot that shows just how amazingly Mercedes cars can clean up.
Here is a shot of the rear seating area that shows more of the same amazing clean. Notice all the floor vents and plastic seat running hardware; everything perfect as should be.
