Porsche Turbo Detailing PageToday I am bringing you this Porsche Turbo Detailing Page of one of my fabulous cars that I have the pleasure of car detailing on a regular basis.Here is one gorgeous car! I love the Porsche's. I think they have some of the most provocative lines of any cars out there! This Porsche Turbo car detail was a treat to do! I have been taking care of this particular car for some time now, off and on. I will take you through and highlight some of the areas of this car.
Just check out the lines of this beautiful Porsche Turbo detail; and look at that shine. Auto detailing a black car so that it is done correctly requires the touch of an expert and should not be left in the hands of a novice. When the right technique and product choice come together on a black car, the results are nothing short of spectacular! Take a look at the rear quarter panel and get a little closer look at the sensuous lines that have been designed into this work of art.
I love the materials that Porsche chooses to use within their cars. You can really tell the difference in quality when you have the opportunity to work on so many different types of cars. Have look at the interior of this Porsche Turbo detail to see what I am talking about.
The leather; the plastics; the metals; it's fabulous, elegant, and sporty all wrapped up in this marvelous engineering wonder of a car. And if you ever get the chance to take one of these rockets for a test drive, don't pass the opportunity up for anything; they are truly impressive! How engineers are able to fit this much performance into such a tight package is amazing! Let's have a look at some further interior treatments.
Notice the absolute perfection of the interior of this car. Nothing is left undone or out of place. Notice the area of the threshold plate as it sits against the flawless perfection of the painted door jamb area. Not a single piece of lint or dirt remains after the Porsche Turbo detail has been completed.
Notice the simplicity of the door panel with use of materials and functionality. Look at the precise use of stitching for the leather and the elegant lines of the door handle and compartment area. Let's have a look in the engine compartment where the massive amounts of horsepower and torque originate from.
I must admit, when comparing this engine visually with other samples; it is a bit anti-climatic as the engine is configured and engineered into such a tight space. It is hard to distinguish the specific parts and systems of this Porsche Turbo detail within the engine. Non the less, this is one impressive feat of engineering! Notice the absence of any dirt or grime in the engine area. Notice how shiny even the engine jamb area is. I always say, "A clean engine is a better running engine." I just love when you have a fabulous car that is detailed inside and out, and you even look under the hood to find an engine so perfectly clean you would eat from it; except you wouldn't 'cause you would get your perfectly clean engine dirty. There are tricks to get an engine this clean; tricks that use specific methods and products that will get you these kinds of results. And these are the kind of tricks that will achieve dramatic results with out consuming dramatic amounts of time and energy! This car has been tweaked a bit with upgraded wheels and tires at all four corners. This are some big 3 piece wheels with some really fat rubber to keep this rocket planted to the ground when the torque is being called upon from your right foot.
Look at these massive chrome wheels and massive low profile tires of this Porsche Turbo detail. I love the way Porsche powder coats their massive brake calipers, and does it in red in this case, so they really stand out and look sharp when they have been cleaned to perfection like these have; look at the crossed drilled rotors as well. If you look closely inside of the wheel you will also noticed that this area within has been meticulously detailed also. Let me show you a picture of the front wheel and wheel well area now, so you can see the details of this area.
Notice the perfection of the wheel well area and just how perfectly clean and shiny this area looks. This is an area that can really set your detail apart. I remember back in the late eighties and early nineties when professional car detailers I came across working out in the field, were still neglecting this area when detailing; to me it always left the feeling and look of being incomplete. Now days, even the higher end car washes are at least spraying dressing into these areas to at least cover up some of the dirt, and give the appearance of being detailed. This method certainly isn't the best choice of methods, but it is an area where the car washes have learned from the detail professionals and have stepped the bar up another notch. So kudos to the car washes that do this extra step.
I have included this picture of this Porsche Turbo detail so you can see some of the procedure that is required to do a car correctly. This is tape that must be laid down first in order to protect the felt around the sun roof panel, and the rubber around the windows and panels. This keeps the buffer from doing any damage to the rubber and felt, as well as keeps polish from being permanently polished into the seams. This is just one of many steps that are required to do details correctly; and only when you do the correct steps, will you get the kind of results that I like to give, and that my customers require, and certainly added to this Porsche Turbo detail this day.
