When it comes to car washing, I reside on the other side of the fence as traditionalists; or purists if you wish. Before I reveal my cynical side once again, let me first show my practical side regarding the whole concept of car washing.

This leads me to my cynical moment I promised earlier; if you must wash, this Zip Wax will do you just fine. Like I said, it is hard to go wrong with a car wash liquid. The reality is, all we really need is some half-way decent packaging, some colorful dye, some smell good fragrance, and some additional chemical additive to ensure plenty of suds! Then the power of suggestion of free to take over.

What do I mean by this?

• Decent packaging.
• Colorful dye.
• Smell good fragrance.
• Chemical additive for plenty of suds.
• The power of suggestion.

As a member of the human species, we are prone to the power of suggestion; the suggestion here being as follows:

The more water and suds there are, the cleaner my car will be. So we proceed to make a big watery mess of our car with plenty of smell good liquid that makes lots of suds. To me, this is the equivalence of dragging out my nicest piece of furniture from the house, watering it down, soaping it up, and drying it off; just to have a clean piece of furniture. I will not bore you further will my alternative to this madness, let me just say that this Zip Wax is a good product if you are a person that finds themselves with the misfortune of car washing duties.

I know, I know...there are plenty out there who find solace in this mundane task; I personally am not one of them. Like I said earlier, I want to get down to the real fun stuff; detailing!
